Gary Chaput

OXFORD – Gary E. Chaput, 70, died suddenly on Sunday, November 6, 2022, at UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus in Worcester.  He is survived by his mother, Lorna N. (Swenson) Chaput of Oxford; five siblings, Nancy L. White of Oxford, David W. Chaput and wife Claudia of North Carolina, Judith L. Tyler of Webster, Debra J. Borus of Webster, and Ernest P. Chaput of Webster; and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a brother, Mark S. Chaput who died in 2017.  He was born in Worcester, son of the late Ernest W. Chaput.

Mr. Chaput graduated from Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester, then continued his studies at UMass Amherst and the University of Hawaii.  He worked as a hairstylist throughout his life.  He loved to be around family and will be remembered as a man who loved life.

Services will be held at a later date. Gary truly loved animals, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Cat Connection, PO Box 724 Webster, MA 01570.

Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
