AUBURN – William C. Morway, 58, of Coolidge Street, died Saturday, April 8, 2017, in his home surrounded by his loved ones, after a short battle with esophageal cancer. He is survived by two daughters, Tiana M. Diaz and her husband Pedro of Worcester and Angelica M. Morway of Millbury; and his grandchildren, P.J., Julianna, Anthony, and Jullian. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Kelly McHugh of Auburn; her children, Steven McHugh and Meaghan Boisoneau; and her grandchildren, Mason and L.J. In addition, he is survived by two brothers, Tom Morway of West Brookfield and Ben Morway of California; two sisters, Lois Harrison of Oxford and Betty Ziegler of Dudley; and several nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of the late William G. and Gracia H. (Clark) Morway, and lived in Oxford before moving to Auburn 20 years ago.
Bill owned and operated Imperial Restoration for 30 years. He will be remembered as a generous person who was willing to help anyone. He was patient and could make anyone laugh. Bill was a successful businessman who was respected by his clients as well as his competitors. He worked hard every day, whether managing the business or at the job site resurfacing concrete floors. He had a way of making his employees feel needed and accomplished. Though he worked every day, he always made time for his family. He enjoyed simple pleasurers like a backyard bar-b-que and a Twisted Tea, riding a Harley, or a day at the beach. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
