NORTH OXFORD - Wenola P. (Nadeau) "Nola" Guerin, 82, of Prospect St., died Monday, November 22, 2010, at the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence in Worcester. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Laurence F. Guerin of North Oxford; four children, David L. Guerin of Oxford, John E. Guerin of Oxford, Paula A. Perry of North Grosvenordale, CT, and Deborah M. Anderson of Oxford; eleven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two sisters, Alice A. Duguay and Aline A. Breton, both of Livermore Falls, ME. She was born in Livermore Falls, ME, the daughter of the late Emile J. and Marie F. (Dubord) Nadeau, and lived in Auburn before moving Oxford in 1955. She graduated from Livermore Falls High School in 1946 and Becker College in 1950. Mrs. Guerin worked at Sears and Roebuck in Auburn for over 20 years, retiring in 1991. She was a member of St. Ann's Church in North Oxford, where she was also a lector, Eucharistic minister, member of the Altar Society and St. Vincent de Paul Society. She was a founding member of North American Martyrs Church in Auburn in 1952. A funeral will be held on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, from Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Ann's Church, 652 Main St., North Oxford. Burial will follow at North Cemetery, Oxford. Calling hours are Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Ann's Church, P.O. Box 488, North Oxford, MA 01537.
