OXFORD - Vivian T. (Rheault) DuBois, 81, passed away peacefully at home after a short illness. She was predeceased by her husband of 26 years, Armand DuBois of Oxford who died in 1978. She is survived by two daughters, Ann M. Brown of Oxford, and Carol A. Chapdelaine and her husband Oliver of Oxford; a sister, Janet Nicholson of Webster; a sister-in-law, Martha Rheault of Oxford; and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a brother, Roger Rheault of Oxford. She was born in Southbridge, the daughter of the late Omer U. and Clara G. (Cournoyer) Rheault, and was a lifelong resident of Oxford. She graduated from Oxford High School. Vivian worked in the Surgical Unit at Memorial Hospital in Worcester for several years, retiring in 1992. Previously, she was a school bus driver for many years for Cazeault Brothers and Kunkel Bus Company. She enjoyed her friends at the Oxford Senior Center, Carl's Diner, and the Big I. She was a member of the Historical Society and the Oxford Woman's Club. She was actively involved in the Oxford Animal Shelter. A funeral service and burial will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of the Oxford Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 84, North Oxford, MA 01537. Paradis Funeral Home in Oxford is assisting with arrangements.
