AUBURN – Viola J. (Gregarczyk) Watt, 94, of Wellman Street, died Sunday, November 5, 2023, at UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus in Worcester. She was predeceased by her husband of 74 years, Arthur C. Watt of Auburn who died in 2022. She is survived by two children, James Watt and his wife Anne of Liberty, MO, and Donna M. Finizza of Oxford; her brother, John Gregarczyk and his wife Maria of Worcester; seven grandchildren, Michael A. Finizza III and his wife Heidi of Charlton, Todd C. Finizza and his wife Kelly of Oxford, Arthur Watt of Sturbridge, Amy Meyer and her husband Greg of Oxford, Angie Stoller and her husband Shaun of Owasso, OK, James Watt and his wife Jill of Kansas City, MO, and John Watt and his wife Shanna of Kansas City, MO; 17 great-grandchildren, many nephews and nieces, and a special niece and friend, Denise Allegrezza. She was predeceased by a son, Arthur C. Watt II; a son-in-law, Michael A. Finizza Jr.; three brothers, Thaddeus Gregarczyk, Mitchell Gregarczyk, and Joseph Gregarczyk; and four sisters, Isabel Gregarczyk, Jane Gregarczyk, Ottolie Pandolfi, and Genevieve Dobbins. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late John and Blanche (Orzechowska) Gregarczyk, and lived in Auburn for 72 years. She graduated from Commerce High School in Worcester.
Mrs. Watt worked at Parker Manufacturing for 22 years. She was a member of the Seniors Auburn Bowling League. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, trips to Foxwoods to play Bingo and slots, fishing, vacationing in New Hampshire, and traveling the country. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
A funeral service will be held privately for family. Burial will be private at Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Veterans Inc., 69 Grove St., Worcester, MA 01605. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
