Victor Tereba

WORCESTER – Victor A. Tereba, 65, of Mower Street, died Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus in Worcester. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Cheryl Ann (Perno) Tereba of Worcester; his son, Ian Tereba of Worcester; his brother, Milos Tereba of the Czech Republic; and several nephews and nieces. He was born in Novy Jicin, Czech Republic, and lived in Boston and Arlington before moving to Worcester over 30 years ago. He graduated from Novy Jicin High School and received his master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Prague Institute of Technology.

Mr. Tereba owned and operated Ian’s Autobody and Sales in Sutton for over 20 years, retiring in 2015. He enjoyed gardening and loved to be outdoors, working on cars, and anything with a motor. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and his two loyal dogs, Pilaf and Peanut.

No funeral service is planned and there are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is assisting with arrangements.
