Thomas Cummings

OXFORD - Thomas F. Cummings, 69, died suddenly on Thursday, October 10, 2013, at Harrington Healthcare at Hubbard in Webster. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Nancy L. Cummings; and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his sister, Ann Cummings of Oxford, who died in 2004. He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Thomas F. and Julia (Green) Cummings, and lived in Worcester and Millbury before moving to Oxford 27 years ago. He graduated from Commerce High School in Worcester. Mr. Cummings worked at the former NENSCO in Millbury for over 20 years, retiring in 2008. He enjoyed going on cruises and traveling. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2013, at St. John's Cemetery, 260 Cambridge St., Worcester. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Oxford Animal Shelter, 325 Main St., Oxford, MA 01540. Paradis Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
