Theresa Tremblay

STURBRIDGE - Theresa R. (Morin) Tremblay, 83, formerly of Arnold Road, died Friday, July 31, 2009, at Webster Manor Nursing Home in Webster. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Roland W. Tremblay Sr.; four children, Jean Lubelzcyk and her husband Charles of Gilbertville, Diane Lamontagne and her husband Paul of Sturbridge, Shirley Hobbs and her husband William of Athol, and Roland W. Tremblay Jr. and his wife Lisa of Sturbridge; a brother, nine grandchildren, three step grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by three brothers and four sisters. She was born in Southbridge, the daughter of the late Philias and MarieLouise (Blanchette) Morin, and lived in Sturbridge for many years. Mrs. Tremblay owned and operated Roland's Gulf Station in Sturbridge with her husband for over 20 years, retiring many years ago. In her retirement, she drove for Elderbus in Charlton. Mrs. Tremblay enjoyed living in Florida, quilting, knitting, and especially enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Memorial calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2009, from 4-6 p.m. at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. There will be a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the conclusion of calling hours. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of Mercy Centre, 25 West Chester Street, Worcester, MA 01605, which is a caring school for disabled children.
