OXFORD - Thelma I. (Ringer) Brunelle, 87, of Locust Street, died Friday, April 18, 2014, in her home surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Arthur M. Brunelle of Oxford who died in 1989. She is survived by three daughters, Diane C. Starr and her husband Richard of Auburn, Linda M. Starr and her husband Barry of Oxford, and Karen J. Vigeant and her husband Bruce of Oxford; six grandchildren, Stephen Starr and his wife Chrystina of Charlton, Michael Starr and his wife Amy of Woodstock, CT, Matthew Starr and his wife Kerri of Grosvenordale, CT, Timothy Starr and his wife Sharon of Oxford, Leah Powers and her husband Eric of Oxford, and Joshua Vigeant and his fiancée Jessica of Oxford; eleven great grandchildren, Caitlyn, Connor, Jacob, Mackenzie, Gavyn, Tristan, Jaedyn, Zoe, Eva, Grady, and Everly; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her sister, Rita Gonyea of Worcester who died in 1987. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Frank and Eva (Dansereau) Ringer, and lived in Shrewsbury and Worcester before moving to Oxford in 1989. She graduated from Classical High School in Worcester. Mrs. Brunelle worked at Digital Equipment Corp. in Hudson for 25 years, retiring in 1991. Previously, she worked at Sprague Electric in Worcester for 10 years. She was a member of St. Roch's Church in Oxford, and was a former member of St. Anne's Church in Shrewsbury. She enjoyed reading and loved to spend time with her family. A funeral will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2014, from Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Roch's Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Entombment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester. Calling hours are Wednesday, April 23, 2014, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tri-Valley Elder Services, 10 Mill St., Dudley, MA 01571, or to the V.N.A. Care Hospice, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, MA 01608.
