WORCESTER – Teresa M. Lipnickas, 80, of Country Club Boulevard, died August 17, 2016, at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Worcester, after a long illness. She is survived by her brother, Edward F. Lipnickas of Oxford; and her niece, Kathleen M. Smith and her husband Duane of Oxford. She was predeceased by her fiancé, Joseph Dambrosia of Worcester who died in 1998. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Edward V. and Gertrude (Gervais) Lipnickas, and was a lifelong resident of Worcester. She graduated from Commerce High School.
Miss Lipnickas worked for the New England Telephone Company for over 50 years. She was a former member of St. Joan of Arc Parish in Worcester and the Red Hat Society. She was an avid reader.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 22, 2016, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Entombment will follow at Notre Dame Mausoleum in Worcester. A calling hour will be held on Monday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Oxford Animal Shelter, 325 Main St., Oxford, MA 01540.
