Talon Whitcomb

CHARLTON - Talon Michael Whitcomb, 1, born on August 10, 2011, was granted his wings on Tuesday, May 14, 2013. He spent his final days in peace and comfort, surrounded by love and family. In Talon's short life, he showed us that each day is a blessing and should be cherished with family and friends. Talon will forever remain in our hearts, especially his parents, Chad and Kristina (Remillard) Whitcomb; and his two brothers, Benjamin and Nicholas Carpenter, all of Charlton. He also leaves his grandparents, Debra Remillard of Worcester, Albert and Claudine Remillard of Spencer, Michael and Barbara Hopkins of Oxford, Wendell and Tammy Whitcomb of Charlton; great grandparents, Mary Remillard, June Camarra, Louis and Patricia Camarra, and Marjorie Babineau; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and the family dog, Lucky. In addition to our family support, we are grateful for Dr. Rugo Foucht, the doctors and PACT team at Children's Hospital in Boston, Perkins School for the Blind, Kennedy Donovan Early Intervention, Notre Dame, and the V.N.A. Hospice. We would also like to offer a special thank you to Nurse Debbie and Paulette. Calling hours are Thursday, May 16, 2013, from 5-8 p.m. at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, May 17, 2013, at the Charlton Baptist Church, 50 Hammond Hill Rd., Charlton. Burial will follow at Northside Cemetery in Charlton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Talon's Christmas Wish, P.O.
