OXFORD – Susan M. (Nash) Rabidou, 85, of Wheelock Street, died on Monday, August 28, 2023, in her home. She is survived by nine children, Michael Rabidou and his wife Marie of Leicester, Suzanne Fraser and her wife Roxanne of Virginia Beach, VA, Cheryl Fraser of Oxford, Robert Fraser of Oxford, Lynne Dagnese and her husband Michael of Fort Myers Beach, FL, Brian Fraser and his wife Sandra of Charlton, Lori Lanuza and her husband Al of North Carolina, Michele Rabidou and her lifetime fiancé Guy Martel, and Anthony Rabidou and his wife Tammy of Charlton; 12 grandchildren, Dennis, Samantha, Sara, Jeremy, Mae, Bobbi Jo, Cora Lee, Tommy, Crystal, Alberto, Gabriella, and Nicholas; 11 great-grandchildren, Tristan, Troy, Payne Jr., Gunner, Isabella, Eveline, Alexis, Tommy, John, Adriana, and Eddie; and one great-great grandson, Nathaniel. She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Michael W. Rabidou who died in 2022; her son, Michael Rabidou Jr; and her daughter, Bonnie Gauthier. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Edward S. and Marguerite M. (Rebboli) Nash, and lived in Worcester, Auburn, Fort Myers Beach, Charlton, before moving to Oxford 14 years ago.
Mrs. Rabidou was a waitress at Abdow’s Restaurant in Auburn for several years, retiring over 30 years ago. Later, she worked at Park and Shop in Auburn. In her younger years, she worked as a switch operator for the telephone company. She enjoyed trips to the casino, long drives north through New Hampshire, going out to eat, and watching Lifetime movies. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and children.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at Notre Dame Cemetery, 162 Webster Street, Worcester. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
