OXFORD - Stuart L. Tully Sr., 76, died Wednesday, August 13, 2008, at the Overlook Masonic Health Center in Charlton. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Beatrice A. (Mann) Tully of Oxford; four children, Nancy L. Tully of Charlton, Stuart L. Tully Jr. and his wife Amy Hanley-Tully of Oxford, Tammy L. Sullivan of Charlton, and Mark M. Tully and his wife Jennifer of Oxford; three brothers, Richard Tully of Charlton, Michael Tully of Woodstock, CT, and Thomas Tully of Cape Cod; a sister, Beatrice Tully of Southbridge; four grandchildren, Elizabeth and Patrick Sullivan, and Lauren and Jillian Tully; and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a daughter, Deborah M. Tully of Oxford, who died in 1960; and a sister, Barbara Lamoureux of Chicopee. He was born in Southbridge, the son of the late Stuart M. and Irene B. (Loranger) Tully, and was a lifelong resident of Oxford. Mr. Tully was a machinist at Wyman-Gordon Company in North Grafton for 42 years, retiring in 1994. He graduated from Charlton High School in Charlton. Mr. Tully was an avid golfer and was a longtime member of Heritage Country Club in Charlton. A funeral will be held at 8 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2008, from Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 9 a.m. at St. Roch's Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at St. Roch's Cemetery, Oxford. Calling hours are Friday, August 15, 2008, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
