Steven Richards, Jr.

WEBSTER- Steven W. Richards, Jr., 32, of Webster, died Saturday, May 9, 2015, as a result of injuries from a motor vehicle accident. He is survived by his wife of 7 years, Jessica J. (Davis) Richards of Webster; his daughter, Isabella R. Richards and, his son Bentley B. Richards both of Webster; his father and stepmother, Steven W. and Martha Richards Sr. of Shrewsbury; his mother Lori A. (Sheehan) Maloney of Oakham; two brothers, Tyson Maloney and Dylan Cournoyer both of Spencer; his mother-in-law, Donna Plasse; his grandparents, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Dakota Cournoyer. Steven was born in Worcester, was a graduate of Quabbin High School and was a former member of the Army National Guard. He was employed as a car sales manager at Ron Bouchard's Kia of Lancaster. Richard was a volunteer firefighter since the age of 16, starting with the Barre Fire Department and recently with the Webster/Dudley Fire Departments. Steven loved spending time with his children. They were his world to him. He and his wife shared many happy memories together and especially enjoyed gout out to dinner with each other. He enjoyed golfing with Derrick and was a fan of the Patriots, Red Sox, and MMA. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am on Thursday, May 14, 2015, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oxford. Burial will follow at Mount Zion Cemetery in Webster. Calling hours are Thursday, May 14, 2015, from 10 am to 11:30 am at the funeral home, prior to the service.
