THOMPSON, CT – Steven Edward Farland, 52, of Elmwood Hill Road, died Sunday, December 17, 2017, as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident in Putnam, CT. He is survived by his parents, Edward W. and Donna M. (Drake) Farland of New Port Richey, FL; three children, Amanda J. Wolffram and her husband Jeremy of Holiday, FL, Jillian Farland of East Windsor, CT, and Jacob L. Farland of Fort Lauderdale, FL; his sister, Melissa A. Reyes of Simpsonville, SC; four grandchildren, Camden Hall, Jordyn Hall, Axel Hall, and Ellie Wolffram, and his former wife, Jane (Gorski) Farland of Thompson. He was predeceased by his brother, James R. Farland of Thompson who died in 2013. He was born in Webster, and lived in Thompson for over 20 years.
Mr. Farland was a truck driver at Casalla in Auburn. He graduated from Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School in Charlton.
Services will be private. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
