Stephen L. Moffat

December 26, 1958 — January 3, 2025

North Oxford

NORTH OXFORD – Stephen L. Moffat, 66, of Marcam Village Road, died unexpectedly on Friday, January 3, 2025, in his home. He is survived by his sister, Diane J. Moffat and her partner Nick Bellino, with whom he lived for the last 14 years; along with his siblings David, Christopher, and Judith. He also leaves close family friends, Dana Lara from Arizona and Cyndi Adams of Dudley, MA.

He was born in Worcester, son of the late Leslie Moffat and Nancy Y. (Denoncourt) Angers, was raised in Rochdale and lived in Sun City, AZ, for 12 years before moving in with his sister 14 years ago.

Mr. Moffat attended the Seven Hills Foundation for the last 14 years. The entire staff at Seven Hills were incredibly kind to Steve in those 14 years. He was a New England sports fan with the Red Sox being his favorite. In his younger years, he could tell you any statistic for any Red Sox player at any time. He enjoyed watching Roger Miller YouTube videos and loved bowling. He spent endless hours playing catch with his childhood best friend, Lenny M. He will be remembered as a kind person who was always happy. He loved coffee more than anything else in the world and the only food he refused to eat was liver.

Services will be held privately. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
