CHARLTON – Stanley J. Kravetz, 76, of Richardson Corner Road, died Monday, December 14, 2015, at the Life Care Center of Auburn. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Barbara P. (Zinkowsky) Kravetz; his daughter, Jennifer L. Riddle and her husband Richard of Shrewsbury; two sisters, Gloria Kraftician and her husband John of Allentown, PA, and Patricia Peters and her husband Jeff of Macungie, PA; five grandchildren, Johanna, Sylvia, Henry, Gwendylan, and Jackson Riddle; two nephews, Michael and Timothy Peters; and three nieces, Lisa Holmgren, Susan Verba, and Lora Spangler. He was born in Palmerton, PA, son of the late Stanley A. and Mary (Barney) Kravetz, and lived in Charlton since 1979.
Mr. Kravetz served 22 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, retiring as a Gunnery Sergeant in 1979. After retiring from the military, he worked for Apollo Security for 10 years. He was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed finding treasurers with his metal detector, fishing, hunting, reading, and history.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2015, at St. Ann’s Church, 652 Main St., North Oxford. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum at Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
