DUDLEY - Scott E. Menard, 49, of Brandon Road, died unexpectedly on Friday, November 29, 2013, at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. He is survived by his former wife of 24 years, Tarese R. Lopriore of Dudley; two daughters, Dayna M. Menard and Andrea M. Menard, both of Dudley; his parents, Leo P. and Winifred M. (Bedard) Menard of Las Vegas, NV; four brothers, Stephen P. Menard of Las Vegas, NV, John A. Menard of East Douglas, Joel D. Menard of Bastrop, TX, and Michael L .Menard of Las Vegas, NV; a sister, Susan J. Hughes of Jacksonville, FL; and many nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, and lived in Dudley for the past 18 years. He graduated from Bay Path High School in Charlton in 1982. Mr. Menard was a truck driver for several local trucking companies for the past 22 years. He was a small engine mechanic, enjoyed working on motorcycles, and built his own motorcycle. He liked to sing, enjoyed music, and studied history and historic structures. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2013, at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at North Cemetery in Oxford. Memorial calling hours are Wednesday, December 11, 2013, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 10 Speen St., 2nd Floor, Framingham, MA 01701.
