Scott Chaffee

OXFORD - Scott L. Chaffee, 55, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2009, in his home. He was the beloved son of Warren H. and Barbara S. Chaffee and grandson of Roger B. and Emily R. Chaffee and Clarence W. and Sadie Smith all of Oxford. He leaves his mother, brother Bruce H. Chaffee of Kingston, MA and wife Anne, sister Diane and husband James Sorace of Maryland as well as nieces and nephews Jolianne S. Chaffee and Roger A. Chaffee, of Kingston and Cheryl M. Sorace and Brian J. Sorace also of Maryland. Mr. Chaffee received his undergraduate degree from Rollins College and his Masters degree from the University of Connecticut. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2009, at North Cemetery, Main St., Oxford. There are no calling hours. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Paradis Funeral Home.
