Saranetta Ford

OXFORD - Saranetta "Sue" (Morrell) Ford, 74, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 6, 2011, at the Meadows of Leicester after a long illness. She is survived by her 5 children: daughter Karin Niedzialkowski and her husband Jim of Oxford, her sons, Dale Ford and his wife Lisette of Dudley, Calvin Ford and his wife Dora of Peoria, AZ, Randy Ford of Oxford, and Dennis Morrell of LaQuinta, CA; her brother, William Morrell of Arkansas; 10 grandchildren, Chad Ford, Karla Escolas, Ryan Martin, Joseph Brochu, Kristi Stout, Laurel Aviles, Haley Ford, Cassie Ford, Janel Morrell, and Kyle Morrell; 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Sue is predeceased by her husband, Calvin Ford of Oxford; her parents, Milton Morrell and Catherine (Campbell) Morrell; her brother Ted Morrell; and her sisters, Laurel Stinchfield and Kathleen Pixley, all of California. Sue was born in Worcester and attended South Lancaster Academy. She received her Real Estate License from Lee Institute in 1965. Sue loved spending time with her family and especially taking care of her grandchildren before her illness. Sue's family wishes to extend their sincerest gratitude to all the staff at the Meadows for the excellent care and support over the last 10 years A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, January 12, 2011, at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at North Cemetery, Oxford. A calling hour will be on Wednesday from 11 a.m. - 12 noon, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Meadows of Leicester, c/o the Activity Department, 111 Huntoon Memorial Highway, Leicester, MA 01542.
