OXFORD - Sandra J. (Berry) Brennan, 58, of Church Street, died Friday, March 5, 2010, at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, after a short battle with cancer. She is survived by two children, Keith J. Brennan of Oxford, and Lori J. Merriam and her husband Jesse of West Brookfield; her mother, Shirley B. Berry of Webster; her brother, Frank Berry, Jr. of South Carolina; her sister, Betty Fay of Oxford; her former husband, Jonathan W. Brennan of Oxford; and many nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Frank Berry, Sr., and lived most of her life in Oxford. She graduated from Oxford High School in 1969. Mrs. Brennan was an assistant manager at McDonald's Restaurant in Oxford for 10 years. She was a member of the Oxford United Methodist Church in Oxford, and was also the church secretary for many years. She enjoyed bowling and was an avid softball player. She participated in several softball leagues including the Oxford Women's Softball League. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at the Oxford United Methodist Church, 465 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at West Sutton Cemetery, Sutton. Calling hours are Monday, March 8, 2010, from 6-8 p.m. at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Oxford United Methodist Church, 465 Main St., Oxford, MA 01540.
