Russell was preceded in death by his father and best friend, David M. Huntington, as well as his sister, Diane M. Huntington. Russell had many close friends who are like family and will miss him tremendously. He loved the role of dad and uncle, and doted on his nieces and nephews, Sarah C. and Samuel H. Ware, Nathaniel F. Brown, and Delaney M. and Daniel J. Kudron. He coached Little League in Webster and was a Scout leader for his boys when they were young. Russ graduated from Oxford High School in 1975. He was a highly respected brother in Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 4 in Worcester for more than 30 years, and served on their Executive Board for several years. In his spare time, he loved being at the ocean, especially Hampton Beach and his trailer there. Russ enjoyed fishing, whether ice fishing with his boys or brook fishing in Vermont. He was an avid fan of the Red Sox and Patriots. Russ will be remembered as a no-nonsense yet big-hearted man with an easy laugh and an infectious smile. We will hold him closely in our hearts forever.
