OXFORD – RoseAnn (Miano) Ljunggren, 78, of Maid Marion Street, died Thursday, August 15, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul A. Ljunggren Sr. of Oxford, who died in 2014. She is survived by two sons, Paul A. Ljunggren Jr. and his wife Susan of Oxford, and Michael S. Ljunggren and his wife Kristin of Niantic, CT; four grandchildren, Andrew Ljunggren and his wife Deandra, Adam Ljunggren, Rebecca Ljunggren and her husband Tim, and Mercedes Ljunggren; seven great-grandchildren, Sophia, Keoni, Bennett, Jackson, Eleana, Allison, and Lena; a brother, James Miano and his wife Rosalind of Athol; a sister, Linda Froneberger of Webster; and several nieces and nephews.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Salvatore and Santina (Catanzaro) Miano, and lived in Worcester before moving to Oxford in 1976. She graduated from Venerini Academy in Worcester in 1964.
RoseAnn worked at Imperial Distributors in Auburn for 24 years, retiring in 2003. She was a member of St. Roch’s Church in Oxford, and a member of the church’s bereavement committee that provides food for funerals. She enjoyed playing pitch at the Oxford Senior Center.
A funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at St. Roch’s Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Those attending are respectfully requested to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow at St. Roch’s Cemetery in Oxford. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
