Ronald Roix

CHARLTON - Ronald G. Roix, 71, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 12, 2012, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Ki Boon (Hong) Roix of Charlton; three step children, Donald M. Josti of Montana, Lawrence M. Josti, III of Rutland, and Carolyn A. Wheeler of Barre; his sister, Natalie G. Lotti of Charlton; four step grandchildren, Jason Melanson, Brittany Josti, Chantal McMullen, and Anna Josti; one step great grandson, Andruw Melanson; and three nephews, Christopher Lotti, Michael Lotti, and Brian Lotti. He was born on February 20, 1941, in Worcester, and graduated from Charlton High School in 1960. Mr. Roix worked at Wyman-Gordon Company in North Grafton for 43 years, retiring in 2003. He was a member of the John Street Baptist Church in Worcester. He loved all sports, especially basketball. Calling hours are Sunday, July 15, 2012, from 1-4 p.m. at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. A prayer service will conclude the calling hours at 4:00 p.m. Burial will be at a later date at Northside Cemetery in Charlton.
