OXFORD – Ronald E. Partridge, 77, of Willow Street, died with his family by his side on Sunday, January 31, 2016, at UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus, after a long illness. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Margery H. (Galeckas) Partridge of Oxford; two daughters, Cheryl A. Pulaski of Worcester and Amy H. Elliott of Leicester; his brother, George Partridge Jr. of Auburn; his sister, Ann Partridge of Auburn; three grandsons, Nicholas, Adam, and Kyle Germain; and many nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of the late George and Ann (Colbert) Partridge, and lived in Worcester before moving to Oxford 50 years ago. He graduated from St. Stephen’s High School in Worcester and served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard.
Mr. Partridge was a lifelong master printer. He was a sports enthusiast who loved all of the Boston sports teams.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2016, at St. Roch’s Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Worcester. Calling hours are Thursday from 9:00-10:30 a.m., at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, prior to the Mass.
