OXFORD – Ronald A. Krusas, 77, died unexpectedly on Saturday, March 29, 2025, in his home. He was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Janice R. (Parker) Krusas who died in 2021; and his son, Keith A. Krusas who died in 2019.
He is survived by two daughters, Lynn M. Leake of North Oxford, and Lisa A. Choiniere and her husband Rodney of Charlton; his daughter-in-law, Shannon E. Krusas of Brooklyn, CT; seven grandchildren, Kyle, Ross, and Daniele Krusas, Morgan Reynolds and her husband Andrew, Matthew Leake, Jared Choiniere, and Zackary Choiniere; and many nieces, nephews, brothers- and sisters-in-law. He was predeceased by three sisters.
He was born in Worcester, son of the late Albin and Lucille (Strobynski) Krusas, and lived most of his life in Oxford. He graduated from Oxford High School.
He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He attained the rank of staff sergeant in just over 3 years, and was stationed at Bien Hoa in Vietnam from 1966-1970.
Mr. Krusas owned and operated Max’s Motor Sales and Service in Oxford for 30 years, retiring in 2018. Previously, he was a police officer on the Oxford Police Department. Ron loved cars and regularly attended car shows with his 1965 Ford Mustang that he rebuilt. He sponsored then owned 3MA Tagg Racing. He enjoyed experiencing the wonder of it all with his Foxwood Friends when he visited the casino.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at North Cemetery in Oxford. Calling hours are Wednesday from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
