WEBSTER – Ronald W. Boisclair, Sr., 77, of Whitcomb Street, died peacefully on Monday, October 28, 2024, in his home after a short battle with cancer. He is survived by four children, William J. Boisclair and his wife Donna of Webster, Kimberly A. Baca and her husband Robert of Uxbridge, Cathy-Jean M. Anderson and her husband Damon of Webster, and James Chenevert; a brother, William Boisclair Jr. and his wife Lynn; four sisters, Kathy Boisclair and her life partner Derek Costen, Susan Brennan and her husband Bruce, Jeanie Gay and her husband J.C., and Linda Dufresne and her husband Noel; several cousins, including Arthur Perry of Charlton; seven grandchildren, Mikayla, Alexis, Tiana, Brandon, Emily, Gabrielle, and Sydney; seven great-grandchildren, Ava, Nyah, Zyla, Mason, Jaiden, Leilani, and Lucas (and two more on the way); the love of his life, Linda Russell of Bethany, CT; many nieces and nephews; and his caretaker, Ryan Fisher of Southbridge. He was predeceased by his son, Ronald W. Boisclair Jr. who died in 2022; and his stepfather, William Howe.
He was born in Worcester, son of the late William J. Boisclair Sr. and Laura (Perry) Howe, and lived most of his life in Connecticut before moving to Webster nine years ago.
Mr. Boisclair worked at Bethany Metal Works in Bethany, CT, for 26 years prior to retirement. Previously, he was a driver for UPS in Shrewsbury for 19 years, where he also played in the softball league with his co-workers. He was a member of the Eagle’s Club in Naugatuck, CT, and the T.S.K.K. in Webster. He played in many leagues throughout his life, including pool, pitch, darts, and horseshoes. Most of all, he enjoyed having a good time at the bar with his friends.
Calling hours are Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. A prayer service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the conclusion of the calling hours.
