DUDLEY – Roger H. Lambert, 82, died Sunday, February 6, 2022, at Webster Manor Healthcare in Webster. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda D.A. (Collins) Lambert; four sons, Oxford Fire Capt. Roger D. Lambert and his wife Cheryl of Dudley, Rene R. Lambert and his wife Kristina of Dudley, Oxford firefighter Ruess R. Lambert and his significant other Lisa Maloney of Oxford, and Eric R. Lambert of Worcester; his brother, Rene O. Lambert of Spencer; four grandchildren, Jacob, Kaylee, Kyle, and Cheyenne; and many nephews, nieces, grandnephews, and grandnieces. He was born in Gloucester, son of the late Didace “Bub” M. and Simone (Hamel) Lambert, and lived in Oxford, North Brookfield, and Webster, before moving to Dudley several years ago.
Mr. Lambert worked at Smith Valve for many years. Later, he worked at Cesyl Mills in Millbury for several years and McDonald’s Restaurant in Webster for 10 years.
A funeral will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022, from Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 12 noon at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 18 East Main St., Webster. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Dudley. Calling hours are Wednesday, February 9, 2022, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 18 East Main St., Webster, MA 01570.
