Webster- Robert W. Stebbins, 55, passed away unexpectedly on December 2, 2019 at Hillcrest Commons Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Pittsfield, MA.
He is survived by his companion and soulmate of 25 years, Heidi L. Boyle of Putnam; his nine children, Cory Stebbins of Webster, Brittany L. Boyle and her significant other Kyle J. Jankowski of Rutland, Justin R. Boyle and his significant other Ashley Jason of Spencer, Jenna N. Stebbins of Putnam, Patrick R. Stebbins of Putnam, Brendon M. Stebbins of Putnam, Heather R. Stebbins of Putnam, Sarah J. Stebbins of Putnam and Kerry A. Stebbins of Putnam; his granddaughter Ava L. Boyle; three brothers, Michael P. Stebbins and his wife Angela of Pensacola, Florida, Douglas W. Stebbins and his wife Holly of Newton, North Carolina and Leo R. Monahan and his wife Karen of Leicester; two sisters, Deborah L. Beaucage of Webster and Michele P. Monahan-Johnson and her husband Wayne of Dudley. Mr. Stebbins was predeceased by his two brothers, Thomas Monahan and Donald Stebbins. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Francis A. Stebbins and Gladys P. (Bennett) Stebbins. Mr. Stebbins was a graduate of Oxford High School. He was a machinist, working at numerous companies in the area.
Mr. Stebbins was a determined man who loved his children and family dearly. He enjoyed wood craft and antiques.
Calling Hours will be held Friday, December 6, 2019 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main Street., Oxford. In lieu of flowers, Robert’s family requests donations to help with expenses by clicking on the “Appeal for Donations” button on his obituary on the funeral home website below his photo.
