Robert K. Sliwoski

CHARLTON – Robert K. Sliwoski, 81, of Gale Road, died Monday, December 11, 2023, at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge.  He was predeceased by his wife, Helen (Wood) Sliwoski.  He was born in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late John and Jane (Borowy) Sliwoski. 

He is survived by his caretakers, Bernadette and Joe LaCoursiere of Worcester; his cousins, Maryanne Lysiak of Boston, Carol and Ted Gaudette of Holden, and Frank Lysiak of Buffalo, NY; and his close friends, Dave and Darlene Aiello; and a large extended family.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.

Mr. Sliwoski was the owner of Bob’s Oil Service in Charlton for many years prior to retirement.

The family would like to thank Dr. Sirigaddi and N.P. Tia Oh, and the staff at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge, for their exceptional care during his illness.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St., Worcester.  Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester.  A calling hour will be held on Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the Mass.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Czestochowa, c/o the Building Fund, 34 Ward St., Worcester, MA 01610.
