Robert Melvin

OXFORD – Robert G. Melvin, 61, died on Tuesday, October 4, 2022. He is survived by his brother, John T. Melvin and his wife Robin of Webster; his sister, Susan J. Deasey of Oxford; his nieces and their husbands, Tanya and Richard Williams, Lindsay and Louis Courteau, his nieces Katie Deasey and Megan Deasey; his nephew, Shaun Melvin; three great-nieces, Jadyn Williams, Ava Williams, and Lily Courteau; his great-nephew, Lucas Courteau; his aunt and uncle, Bardi and Hans Vorster of Kingston, Ontario, Canada; and his cousin, Quinn Vorster. He was predeceased by his partner, Dillon Kelly who died in 2001. He was born in Worcester, son of the late William T. and Audrey J.E. (Winslade) Melvin.

Mr. Melvin graduated from Oxford High School. He enjoyed drawing, reading, gardening and had a love for animals.

Services will be private. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
