Robert Maynard

NORTH OXFORD – Robert M. “Bobby” Maynard, 30, of Leicester Street, died suddenly on Thursday, July 13, 2017, at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester. He is survived by his wife of 1 year, Samantha L. (Stewart) Maynard of North Oxford; his parents, Robert J. and Laurie A. (Johnson) Maynard of North Oxford; his brother, Thomas J. Maynard of Worcester; his sister, Lauren E. Maynard of Dudley; his father- and mother-in-law, James C. and Denise (Prouty) Stewart of North Oxford; his nephew, Devante Lanausse of Dudley; two nieces, Evelynn Stewart and Sopheria Stewart, both of Leicester; and his beloved dog, Archer. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Robert and Helen Maynard of Shrewsbury, and Robert and Joan Johnson of Sutton. He was born in Worcester and was a lifelong resident of Oxford.

Robert graduated from Oxford High School in 2004 and received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Anna Maria College in Paxton in 2008. He worked for Dixon Construction in Northboro for 2 years, and worked at Polar Beverage in Worcester for 6 years. He enjoyed working out and loved to spend time with his family. He was taken too soon and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorial calling hours are Tuesday, July 18, 2017, from 5-8 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at St. Roch’s Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Those attending are respectfully requested to meet directly at the church. Burial will be private at St. Roch’s Cemetery in Oxford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Massachusetts Organization for Addiction Recovery, 29 Winter St., Second Floor, Boston, MA 02108.
