OXFORD – Rita F. (Barrette) Kralik, 88, formerly of Liberty Lane, died Sunday, November 27, 2016, at Care One at Millbury. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Martin S. Kralik of Oxford, who died in 2014. She is survived by her sister and caregiver, Bernadette Hogan and her husband Kenneth of Worcester; and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by four sisters, Cecile Ledoux, Jeannette Andrzejewski, Theresa Correia, and Dorilda Albetski; and four brothers, Leo, Raymond, Ovide, and William Barrette. She was born in Webster, daughter of the late Alfred and Victorine (Deslauriers) Barrette.
Mrs. Kralik worked at a local greeting card company and shoe shop for many years. She was a member of the Children of Mary at Sacred Heart Church in Webster many years ago. Before falling ill, Rita would enjoy going dancing with her husband. She also found great joy in being a homemaker and baking. She will be missed.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2016, at St. Roch’s Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Webster. A calling hour will be held from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a hospice of your choice.
