NORTH OXFORD - Richard I. Sneade, Sr., 89, died Saturday, December 15, 2012, at the Overlook Masonic Health Center in Charlton. He was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Ida A. (DeGaetano) Sneade who died in 2009. He is survived by three sons, Richard Sneade Jr. of Sutton, John Sneade of Oxford, and Tom Sneade of Arizona; six daughters, Beverly Bayer of Charlton, Barbara Sargent and Maryellen Langway of Oxford, Debra Bryn of Dudley, and Janet Elbag and Donna Firestine of Arizona; a brother, Donald Sneade of Florida; 27 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by two sons, Robert Sneade and Dennis Sneade; and a daughter, Shirley Stepien. He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Alfred and Marion (Wright) Sneade, and lived in North Oxford for over 50 years. Mr. Sneade was the parts manager at King Ford in Milford for many years. He enjoyed fixing T.V.'s and cars. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 21, 2012, at the Chapel at the Overlook Masonic Home, 88 Masonic Home Rd., Charlton. Burial will follow at St. Roch's Cemetery in Oxford. There are no calling hours. Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, is assisting with arrangements.
