Richard Seale

PUTNAM, CT – Richard R. Seale, 65, of School St., died Sunday, October 7, 2007, at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in West Roxbury. He was predeceased by his wife of 19 years, Marsha L. (Henrichon) Seal of North Oxford, who died in 2002. He is survived by four children, Donald Seale of Webster, Christina Hutchins and her husband Edward of Kennebunkport, ME; Melissa Haynes and her husband Derek of Putnam, CT, and Joshua Seale of Webster; a stepdaughter, Michelle Carroll of Brookfield; two brothers, Arthur Seale and Ronald Seale, both of Oxford; two sisters, Barbara Moran of Worcester and Wendy Turner of Woodstock, CT; six grandchildren, Vanessa Hutchins, Justin Haynes, Kyle Haynes, Connor Haynes, Destiny Lentine, and Allycia Perry; three step grandchildren, Jeff Richards, Ben Carroll, and Quinn Carroll; many nephews, nieces, and many close friends. He was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Fyler. He was born in Oxford, the son of the late Arthur W. and Alma F. (Chaffee) Seale, and lived in North Oxford before moving to Putnam in 2003. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Mr. Seale worked at Sweet Life Foods in Marlboro, retiring many years ago. He was a member of the American Legion Post 58 in Oxford. He loved hunting and going to the beach, and enjoyed his many friends. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 11, 2007, at Paradis Funeral Home, 35 Main St., Oxford. Burial will be private at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Thursday, October 11, 2007, from 9-11 a.m., prior to the service.
