PASCOAG, RI – Richard A. Huntoon Sr., 58, of Walnut Hill Road, died on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at Landmark Hospital in Woonsocket. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Wyanita L. (Pinto) Huntoon of Pascoag; three children, Angie Huntoon of Denver, CO, Elizabeth A. Greene and her husband Daniel of Worcester, Richard A. Huntoon Jr. of Pascoag, and Christopher A. Huntoon of Woonsocket; a brother, Charles Huntoon Sr. of Florida; four grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Edward Huntoon. He was born in Providence, son of the late Charles R. and Gloria E. (Anderson) Huntoon, was raised in Warwick, and lived in Pascoag since 1997. He graduated from Pilgrim High School in Warwick and attended C.C.R.I.
Mr. Huntoon worked at A.C.S. Industries in Lincoln, RI, for the past 2 years. Previously he worked at Perkin-Elmer Corporation in Warwick. He enjoyed watching sports and loved playing golf.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2016, at Grace Episcopal Church, 270 Main St., Oxford. Burial will be private at a later date at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Johnston. Calling hours are Friday, June 17, 2016, from 4-7 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Episcopal Church, 270 Main St., Oxford, MA 01540.
