CHARLTON – Richard P. “Dick” Doucimo, 83, of Freeman Road, died Monday, May 10, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Joyce M. (Poirier) Doucimo of Charlton; three children, John A. Doucimo of Oxford, Nancy R. Doucimo-Garcia of Charlton, and Mark R. Doucimo and his wife Michelle of Charlton; his sister, Janet Clougherty of Worcester; six grandchildren, Sarah, Morgan, Hunter, Dylan, Kristina, and Kelsea; five great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a son, Richard D. “Rick” Doucimo who died in 2016. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Anthony and Nancy (Mangano) Doucimo, and lived in Worcester before moving to Charlton in 1963. He attended Commerce High School in Worcester.
Mr. Doucimo owned and operated Teed-Off Driving Range in Charlton for many years. He also worked in the construction industry and built many homes throughout Worcester County. He owned and operated Doucimo Transportation and Joy Rich Farm and Tack Shop. Dick was a member of the Palomino Club, Quarter Horse Club, and Reining Horse Club, as well as numerous other horse clubs.
We would like to thank the friends and family who made the time to take Dick out to eat or for a ride to give him some freedom. We would also like to thank those who took the time to come sit and visit with him even during the Covid pandemic. It meant a lot to him to have those visits. You brought joy to his day.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 14, 2021, at St. Joseph’s Church, 10 H. Putnam Rd., Ext., Charlton. Those attending are respectfully requested to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Worcester. Calling hours are Thursday, May 13, 2021, from 4-7 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford.
