OXFORD - Richard W. Boudreau, 79, of Wild Rose Street, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2009, at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Rita M. (Lehto) Boudreau of Oxford; two children, Teri M. Boudreau and Michael R. Boudreau, both of Oxford; two brothers, Harold Boudreau of Hopkinton and Lawrence Boudreau of Worcester; two grandchildren, Ashley L. Defries and Shaun P. Nystrom, both of Oxford; and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a daughter, Sandra J. Boudreau, who died in 1956. He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Wilfred N. and Ruth M. (Hawkins) Boudreau, and lived in Worcester before moving to Oxford in 1975. Mr. Boudreau was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, serving with the 45th Infantry Division. He was a member of the Korean War Veterans Association. He worked at St. Gobain / Norton Co. in Worcester for 34 years, retiring in 1993. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2009, at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Military burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are Thursday, October 15, 2009, from 9 - 11 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
