Renee Robbins

OXFORD, MA // KENTWOOD, MI - Renee A. Robbins, 18, died on Sunday, October 2, 2011, from injuries sustained as a passenger in a motor vehicle accident in Northfield, VT. She is survived by her father and step-mother, Mark D. and Betsy G. Robbins of Oxford; her mother, Raemilee A. (Guith) Robbins of Kentwood, MI; her sister, Michelle E. Robbins of Kentwood, MI; her brother, Marcus A.A. Robbins of Oxford; her paternal grandparents, Larry and Linda Napper of Warren, MI; her maternal grandparents, Robert and Sandra Guith Jr. of Kentwood, MI; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was born in Boston, and lived between Kentwood, MI, and Oxford, MA, before recently moving to Northfield, VT, where she attended school. Renee was a freshman at Norwich Military University in Northfield, where she studied criminal justice and computer security and information assurance. She graduated from East Kentwood High School in May and was involved in the Student Council at the school. She loved to play soccer. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2011, from 4-8 p.m. at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Calling hours will also be held on Friday and a funeral Mass on Saturday in Michigan. Burial will be on Saturday at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Grand Rapids, MI.
