OXFORD - Raymond F. DesRosiers., 84, of Whiting Rd, Oxford, died May 14, 2009, at Lanessa Extended Care in Webster. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Pearl (Guerard) DesRosiers of Oxford; his daughter, Charlene (DesRosiers) and her husband Laurence White of Oxford, with whom he lived with for over 26 years, and their two daughters, Melissa (White) Nowak her husband Chris Nowak of Thompson, CT and Lauren White of Dudley; his son, Kenneth DesRosiers and his wife Cathy of Knoxville, TN, and their 3 children, Michelle (DesRosiers) Stafford her husband John Stafford of St. Petersburg, FL, Kim (DesRosiers) Roach and her husband Michael Roach of Putnam, CT, and Kenneth DesRosiers of Jacksonville, FL; and seven great grandchildren, Mickey DesRosiers, Arthur Scott, Bonnie-Lee DesRosiers, Kelly-Marie Roach, Eric Roach, Michael Roach Jr., and Matthew Nowak. Ray worked for Belanger Painting and Plastering for many years. Thank you to the Belanger Family for treating him like your own Pepe, and a special thank you to all the nurses at Lanessa who made his last year of life as comfortable as possible. A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2009, at St. Roch's Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Massachusetts Chapter, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472. Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, is assisting the family with arrangements.
