Randy Lamoureux

OXFORD - Randy C. Lamoureux, 51, of Orchard Hill Drive, died peacefully on Friday, June 7, 2013, in his home. He is survived by his son, Jeffrey; a brother, Roger Lamoureux; three sisters, Lorraine Lamoureux, Lisette Ford and her husband Dale, and Lavena Shenette and her husband Brian; five nephews and nieces, Luke, Rosy, Trina, Jesse and Randy; and three close friends, Sarah Poulin, Britnee Farland, and Bruce LaPrade. He was born in Webster, the son of the late Joseph Ernest and Claire M. (Gauvin) Lamoureux, and was a lifelong resident of Oxford. He graduated from Oxford High School in 1979. Mr. Lamoureux was a machine operator at Webster Spring Co. in Oxford for 10 years, retiring in 1987 due to injuries sustained in a car accident. He was a former member of St. Roch's Church in Oxford, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. A private graveside service will be held at North Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942. Paradis Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
