Mark and Ramona Mrzyglod

CHARLTON – Mark A. Mrzyglod, 54, of Vine Road, died peacefully on Monday, January 30, 2023, at UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus in Worcester.  His wife, Ramona A.W. (Wetteland) Mrzyglod, 56, of Vine Road, died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 14, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.

They are survived by two children, Tessa R. Lemieux and her husband Mike of Webster; and Ray Blackburn and his fiancée Chelsi Coleman of Charlton; and five grandchildren.

Mark is also survived by his father, Raymond J. Mrzyglod of Charlton; two sisters, Cheryl Russell and her husband Kevin of Dudley, and Karen Manganelli and her husband Carl of Waltham; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He was born in Webster, son of the late Madeleine R. (Lefebve) Mrzyglod, and was a lifelong resident of Charlton.

Ramona is also survived by three sisters, Donna Pointer and her husband Rick of Arizona, Hope Kunz and her husband Richard of New York, and Deborah Kelley of Oregon; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was predeceased by her brother, David Gaucher.  She was born in Southbridge, daughter of the late Richard and Mary (Hilton) Wetteland, and was a lifelong resident of Charlton.

Mark worked for Velocity Networks in Auburn for over 20 years.  He enjoyed boating and waterskiing, riding his motorcycle, gardening and working in his yard.

Ramona enjoyed helping children with behavioral and physical disabilities, and worked as a teacher, aide, and bus driver.  Her hobbies included gardening, canning, and horseback riding.

Memorial calling hours for Mark and Ramona will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oxford.  A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 8:00 p.m. at the conclusion of calling hours.  Burial at St. Joseph’s Garden of Peace in Webster will be private.
