OXFORD – Rachel E. (Ryker) LeBlanc, 42, of Maple Road Ext., passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus in Worcester, surrounded by her loved ones.
She is survived by her husband of six years, Scott E. LeBlanc of Oxford; five children, Francisco Rosario of Worcester, and Isabella Rosario, Darren Knight, Nigel Hamden, and Jaiden Hamden, all of Oxford; her mother, Mary Jo (DeFelice) Reiss and her husband Martin of Northbridge; her father, Christopher C. Ryker of Southington, CT; four brothers, Luke D. Ryker and his wife Ivonne of North Charleston, SC, Christopher J. Ryker and his wife Nikki of High Point, NC, Andrew J. Ryker and his wife Kimberly of Raleigh, NC, and Michael D. Ryker and his wife Katherine of Columbia, SC; her stepsister, Robin Reiss of Washington, DC; her stepbrother, Jay Reiss of Garden Grove, CA; and her father- and mother-in-law, Gary and Wendy LeBlanc of Oakham. She was born in New Haven, CT, and lived most of her life in Southington, CT, before moving to Oxford in 2015. She graduated from Southington High School in Southington, CT, and attended school to become certified in medical coding.
Mrs. LeBlanc was a medical coder at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester for 8 years. Previously, she worked at several Whole Foods stores in Connecticut. She was a Buffalo Bills fan and a member of the Bills Mafia. She enjoyed reading and was dedicated to her family and children.
Memorial calling hours are Wednesday, January 18, 2023, from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the conclusion of calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Track Heroes at trackheroes.org.
