DUDLEY - Philip C. Lanciault, 76, of Schofield Avenue, died Sunday, December 25, 2011, in his home. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Kay F. (Stevens) Lanciault of Dudley; three children, Debra A. Brayman of Chepachet, RI, Brian P. Lanciault of Dudley, and Melody A. Steinhelper of Auburn; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a brother, Donald Lanciault of Oxford; two sisters, Betty Prunier of Webster and Marion Houle of Oxford; and a step-sister, Marjorie Scioscia of Charlton. He was born in Oxford, the son of the late Oney and Gladys (Farrar) Lanciault, and lived in Oxford before moving to Dudley over 40 years ago. He graduated from Oxford High School in 1954 and served in the Massachusetts National Guard during the Korean War. Mr. Lanciault worked at Rice Barton Corporation for 45 years, retiring in 2000. He was a member of the Steelworker's Union AFL-CIO and the United Church of Christ Federated in Webster. He loved fishing, playing cards, and was an avid Red Sox fan. The family would like to thank Dr. Vijay Kasturi, the nurses at UMass Oncology, the staff at the V.N.A., Overlook Hospice, and the Southbridge Cancer Center for their wonderful help. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2011, at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at North Cemetery, Oxford. Calling hours are Wednesday, December 28, 2011, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
