OXFORD – Paul J. Sulminski, 69, of Millbury Road, died peacefully on Friday, February 16, 2024, in his home. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Susan R. (Anderson) Sulminski of Oxford; his son, Erik P. Sulminski of Worcester; his brother, James M. Sulminski of North Oxford; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Bill, June, Bud, Linda, Mike, and John; and many nieces and nephews. He will also be greatly missed by his dog and best friend, Andy, and his cat, Tweety. He was predeceased by a son, Joel Sulminski who died in 2020; a brother, Michael Sulminski who died in 2006; and a sister, Karen “Missy” Hadley who died in 2023. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Charles F. and Beverly J. (Cameron) Sulminski, was raised in Oxford and moved to Cherry Valley in 1976, before moving back to Oxford in 2010. He graduated from Oxford High School in 1972.
Mr. Sulminski was a supervisor at Jamesbury (Valmet) in Shrewsbury, where he worked for 46 years before retiring in 2020. He was a member of the Kaleidoscope Kayakers and enjoyed skiing, going for walks, kayaking, and woodworking.
Memorial calling hours are Friday, February 23, 2024, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
