OXFORD – Paul R. Sepuka, 78, of Hudson Road, died Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus in Worcester, after a short illness. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carol A. (Kaczynski) Sepuka of Oxford; two children, Paul S. Sepuka and his wife Melissa of Peoria, AZ, and Ann-Marie Sepuka and her fiancé Carmine Abbruzzese of Sugarland, TX; his brother, Leon Sepuka of New Bedford; five grandchildren, James Willenborg, Hope Willenborg, Andrew Sepuka, Rachael Sepuka, and Aaron Sepuka; and several nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Frank and Mary E. (McColskey) Sepuka, and lived in Worcester, Leicester, and Millbury before moving to Oxford in 1984. He graduated from St. John’s High School in 1958 and the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in 1962.
Mr. Sepuka was a pharmacist throughout his life. He owned and operated the Oxford Drug Store for 12 years. Previously, he was the Director of Pharmacy at Worcester County Hospital in Boylston and worked for Vernon Drug in Worcester for 22 years. Before retiring in 2010, he worked as a pharmacist for Brooks Pharmacy and CVS, both in Oxford. Mr. Sepuka was a member and former president of the Oxford Business Association in Oxford. He was president, treasurer, and secretary of the Worcester County Pharmaceutical Association and was a member of the Boston Association of Retail Druggists for many years.
A funeral will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018, from Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Roch’s Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Burial will be private at a later date at Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester. Calling hours are Friday, November 23, 2018, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
