OXFORD / PARKMAN, ME - Paul J. Pellerin, 58, formerly of Oxford, died Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, after a short illness. He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Robin L. (Bedard) Pellerin of Parkman, ME; four children, Paul R. Pellerin of Salt Lake City, UT, Michelle L. Pellerin of Holden, Michael P. Pellerin of Worcester, and Ryan O. Collins of North Grosvenordale, CT; three grandchildren, Mackenzie, Colby, and Katelyn; and many, many friends. He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Alice T. (Chapdelaine) Pellerin, and lived in Oxford before moving to Parkman, ME, 13 years ago. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Pellerin was an explosives engineer for many years, retiring in 1988. He enjoyed watching sports, four-wheeling, traveling, camping, and especially loved hunting and fishing. Calling hours are Saturday, September 4, 2010, from 2-4 p.m. at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. A memorial service will be held in Maine at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Massachusetts General Hospital, Development Office, 165 Cambridge Street, Suite 600, Boston, MA 02114.
