Paul Berthiaume

DUDLEY – Paul R. Berthiaume Sr., 74, of Wysocki Drive, died Saturday, January 19, 2008, at the Hospice Residence on Coes Pond in Worcester. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Jacqueline M. (Bolduc) Berthiaume of Dudley; three sons, Neil A. Berthiaume of Webster, Mark D. Berthiaume and his wife Cheryl of Oxford, and David C. Berthiaume and his wife Kelly of Dudley; a daughter, Janine M. Norgren and her husband Richard of Connecticut; two brothers, George E. Berthiaume of Webster and Kenneth S. Berthiaume of Winchester, NH; a sister, Shirley L. Kemp of Auburn; a daughter-in-law, Debra Berthiaume of Webster; nine grandchildren, Steven, Sarah, Tonimarie, Joseph, Nicole, Jonathon, Carrie, and Kyle Berthiaume, and Nicholas Stewart; a great grandson, Jason P. Dufresne of Oxford; and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a son, Paul R. Berthiaume Jr. of Webster, who died in 2000. He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Clement A. and Marjorie (McLeod) Berthiaume, and lived in Webster, Bangor, Maine, and Oxford, before moving to Dudley 8 years ago. He graduated from Oxford High School in 1952 and attended Tufts University. Mr. Berthiaume was a manufacturer representative at Gavin Sales in Hanover for 5 years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of St. Roch's Church in Oxford. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4241 in Oxford and was a 4th Degree Knight. Mr. Berthiaume enjoyed playing pinochle, and played with the same group on Wednesday nights for 30 years. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m on Saturday, June 21, 2008, at St. Roch's Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at St. Roch's Cemetery, Oxford.
