OXFORD - Patricia J. (McCann) Shelton-Cloven, 76, of Main Street, died Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at Kindred Hospital - The Meadows of Leicester, after a short illness. She is survived by two children, Morris L. Shelton and his wife Deborah of Auburn, and Christine D. Munger and her husband Richard of Warren; six grandchildren, Jennifer Munger, Richard Munger, Rebecca Shelton, Angela Shelton, Kelley Shelton, and Reina Shelton; seven great grandchildren; a nephew, Thomas McCann; and two nieces. She was predeceased by her husband, William Cloven; her former husband, Morris L. Shelton; her son, Stephen P. Shelton; and two brothers, Thomas McCann and Hugh McCann. She was born in Ware, the daughter of the late Hugh and Margaret (Messier) McCann, and lived in Worcester before moving to Oxford in 1973. Mrs. Cloven was a home health aide at the V.N.A. in Auburn for several years, retiring in 1998. Also, she was a real estate broker for several years. Since living in Oxford, she had a kennel license and enjoyed raising dogs. A funeral will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012, from Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Roch's Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at North Cemetery, Oxford. Calling hours are Friday, November 9, 2012, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
