Patricia Giles

WEBSTER – Patricia J. (Marsh) Giles, 75, of Slater Street, died Saturday, July 2, 2022, in her home.  She is survived by two children, Michelle L. Payson of Douglas, and Sean D. Giles of Spencer; a brother, Warren C. Marsh of Worcester; two sisters, Norma Vigue and Debra deVillers, both of Maine; three grandchildren, Jeremy Payson of Douglas, Sophia Payson of Douglas, and Vivian Giles of Rochdale; and many nephews and nieces.  She was predeceased by a brother, Douglas Marsh who died in 2006; and her companion, Arthur Bates who died in 2010.  She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Norman and Frances (Carpenter) Marsh, and lived in Massachusetts, Arizona, and Vermont throughout her life.  She graduated from Oxford High School in 1965.

Mrs. Giles worked as a waitress for several years, and later operated a lawn service with her companion, Arthur.  She enjoyed crocheting, crafts, puzzles, and made beautiful photo albums for her children and grandchildren.  She had a special fondness for her cats and dogs, enjoyed collecting and caring for her plants, and loved the desert.

No funeral service is planned at this time.  Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
